Why do I charge five hundred dollars for a website?

I can build you a $50,000.00 website, or a website for a $100.00

That is not a problem either way, but what I have found is that the person wanting a website for their business or organization does not want to have to mess with it, for the most part.

Which now means, do we need a static website, or a dynamic website.

Static is a lot like a billboard on the side of the highway.

You put your message out there, and don’t change it, until you decide you need a new message.

Dynamic means that you access a database of sorts.

Something like amazon’s store, and that changes every time a new product is added, or one is removed.

And then there is the message type website.

It is a combination of a static and a dynamic website.

As an example, the first page will have your message, and you might have a section called “latest news” where you frequently, or infrequently add some news to update your clients so that they can follow what is happening in your business or organization.

Then you need to create and update this information whenever you decide to change it.

For awhile, you are going to need some help until you understand how to do it all.

This is the customer that I typically work for.

They pay me $500.00 to develop their website, which includes unlimited (within reason of course) help which can involve me doing it for you, or explaining it to you as you learn how to do it yourself.

And they pay the domain fee on a annual basis of approximately $15.00 once per year.

And they pay the hosting fee for whichever host they want to use which can run from $5.00 per month to $10.00 or so, or if they want me to host it and manage it for them, I charge $20.00 per month for one of the fastest and most secure hosts (LiquidWeb) that I have found so far.

If you are in need of a website, I will do what I can to help make it a reality for you.
